December 2025 • HIV/AIDS Awareness Month

December marks HIV/AIDS Awareness Month, beginning with World AIDS Day on December 1. It’s a time to honor progress, support those living with HIV, and continue working toward equitable access to testing and care.

At ABOLabs, we believe healthcare should be accessible, stigma-free, and compassionate — no matter where someone lives or what barriers they face.

Why Awareness Still Matters – Colorado Snapshot

  • In Colorado, an estimated 470 new HIV infections occurred in 2022.
  • The state reported 479 new HIV diagnoses in 2023, reflecting an 11% increase year-to-year.
  • HIV continues to disproportionately affect LGBTQ+ Coloradans.
  • Many individuals statewide still do not know their status, delaying treatment and prevention.

Even here at home, increasing awareness and improving access remains essential.

How ABOLabs Helps

  • Mobile Blood Draws — We come directly to your home, workplace, or safe location.
  • Comfort & Confidentiality — Our care is professional, judgment-free, and patient-focused.
  • Education & Outreach — We’re committed to sharing facts, breaking stigma, and opening access.
  • Serving Underserved Regions — From metro Denver to rural and mountain communities.

We remove barriers so more Coloradans feel safe getting tested.
